Beijing and the Royal Danish Consulate General, Shanghai,
Guangzhou and Chongqing are pleased to announce the opening of the Visa
The visa applications could be submitted at any of the visa application centres
in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou or Chongqing. Applications submitted in Beijing
and Chongqing will be assessed by the Royal Danish Embassy, located in Beijing
and applications submitted in Shanghai and Guangzhou will be assessed by the
Royal Danish Consulate General in Shanghai and Guangzhou respectively. We offer
the option of courier service for return of passport and documents submitted,
directly to your doorstep.
All provinces in the People's Republic of China, except the provinces which
belong to the Shanghai ,Guangzhou and Chongqing Jurisdictions.

For Prospective Applicants
Applicants who wish to apply for a Visa are requested to kindly read the
information on this site carefully. The guidelines listed on this site are to
help you prepare your documents as accurately as possible. This will reduce the
risk of your application being incomplete or unnecessary delays.
Please note that personal appearance is always required when
submitting your application at the Visa Application Centre. In addition, a visa
officer/manager might require a personal interview at The Royal Danish Embassy,
Beijing; The Royal Danish Consulate General, Shanghai; The Royal Danish
Consulate General, Guangzhou, prior to a decision being taken on your
application. The Visa Application Centre shall assist you to make an
appointment for the same, if requested by the Danish Mission.

||Before applying, please ensure you are very clear on your ‘purpose of visit’ –
do remember we are here to assist and help you through the entire visa
application process but are not permitted to advise or guide you on choosing a
visa category. Since our work is primarily administrative in nature, we have no
say on whether you will be granted a visa and how long it will take to process,
as this is entirely the prerogative of The Royal Danish Missions in China.
